In Person: Upon the completion of the case, the bondsman must visit the 2nd floor of the State Court of Cobb County Clerk’s Office and bring the following information: pink bond receipt, case number and photo identification. Pictures of ID will not be accepted.  If the surety does not have the pink bond receipt or case number, the court can still refund the cash bond.

By Mail: The bondsman must send a notarized letter to the below address requesting the cash bond be refunded by mail upon completion of the case. The letter must include the following information: case number, defendant’s name, surety’s name, pink bond receipt, and an address to mail the refund check to. If the surety does not have the pink bond receipt, the court can still refund the cash bond so long as a notarized letter is received.

If you are the surety on your own bond, your bond money can be used to pay your fines and/or fees if you so choose.
