Arrest Case Information

How to monitor your case in Cobb State Court

  • You must wait 10-14 business days after your arrest before you attempt to obtain online information regarding your case. If after 14 business days, your case does not appear in the Cobb Court Records Search link, contact the State Court Clerk’s Office at 770-528-2660 to inquire.
  • To search for your case, select the State Court - Cobb Court Records Search link to find your court-assigned case number, confirm your court date, and track docket entries. The case docket is accessible from the above links 24 hours a day, 7 days a week online.
  • Your case may require a mandatory appearance. Failure to appear for a mandatory court appearance may result in a suspension of your Driver’s License and/or a Bench Warrant for your arrest.
  • If your court date changes, the Clerk’s Office will send notice to you by mail at the last address you provided. If your address on your paperwork is incorrect or changes at any time, it is your responsibility to notify the court in writing in advance of your court date.

How to change your address

  • To change your address, submit a State Court Change of Address Form.
  • When changing your address, you must have a court assigned case number. To find your court assigned case number, use the Cobb Court Records Search link.
  • The change-of-address form may be printed, filled out and mailed by US Postal Mail, delivered in person at the State Court Clerk’s Office or Efiled through PeachCourt by using the Criminal eFiling link.  Criminal efiling is free!

At any time, you may call the Clerk’s Office at 770-528-2660.
