Polls open 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. on Election Day, Tues, Nov. 8

November 7 -- Cobb's polling places will be open on Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
If you haven't voted and are not sure where your precinct is, please visit the state's "My Voter" page at https://mvp.sos.ga.gov/.

October 31, 2022 -- Cobb Elections’ “Last Call” absentee ballot return program provides a convenient way for voters to cast their ballots without putting them in the mail. 

Elections staffers will be at seven libraries across the county to accept absentee ballots during the following times:

  • Saturday, November 5, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and, 
  • Monday, November 7, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Residents can drop off their ballots during those times at these locations:

  • East Cobb Library - 4880 Lower Roswell Rd., Marietta 30068
  • Mountain View Library - 3320 Sandy Plains Rd., Marietta 30066
  • North Cobb Library - 3535 Old 41 Hwy., Kennesaw 30144
  • Powder Springs Library - 4181 Atlanta St., Bldg. 1, Powder Springs 30127
  • South Cobb Library - 805 Clay Rd., Mableton 30126
  • Switzer Library - 266 Roswell St. NE, Marietta 30060
  • Vinings Library - 4290 Paces Ferry Rd. SE, Atlanta 30339

Absentee Ballots may be returned to the Main Election Office at 995 Roswell Street, Marietta, until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 8th.

October 26, 2022 -- Cobb County's participation in a pilot program with the Georgia Secretary of State office keeps lines moving during this busy advance voting season.  The program is using a new poll pad.

October 22, 2022 -- Election officials have posted notices at Advance Voting locations concerning Mableton Cityhood because some of the sentences repeat on the ballot question for those using polling devices.  The language is correct on absentee ballots and sample ballots.  The repeated sentences only appear onscreen.  The Mableton Cityhood Referendum will only appear on ballots for those living within the proposed city limits.

Update October 18, 2022 -- Cobb’s Elections Director says more than 11,000 voters cast ballots during the first day of Advance Voting for the November general election.

The 11,184 votes cast far exceeds the previous day one record of 7,729. 
12 advance voting sites are open until 7 p.m. today.

Advance Voting for the November general election starts Monday, October 17, at a dozen locations in Cobb County.  A 13th location will open for one week, and voting will be available on Sunday, October 30, at the Elections' Main Office.

Voters can click this link for a complete list of locations with dates, times, and drop box locations.   

Traditionally the most popular location for advance voting has been the Elections Main Office on Whitlock Avenue.  The Elections Main Office has moved and will host advance voting at their new location at 995 Roswell Street, Marietta, GA.  The Whitlock location will no longer host any election activities.

Voters wishing to take advantage of advance voting can track wait times at the facilities by using this link or by visiting the advance voting page at https://www.cobbcounty.org/elections/voting/advance-voting.

Elections workers started mailing out absentee ballots on Tuesday, October 11, the first day allowed by law.  Voters who have questions about the process or who wish to track the status of their ballot online should visit the absentee ballot page at https://www.cobbcounty.org/elections/voting/absentee-voting.
