The Old Clarkdale Community Center is located in Old Clarkdale Park in the historic Coats and Clark Threadmill Village in Austell.  Tucked in the back of the historic neighborhood, the building mirrors the original community center which was built in 1934.  Parking spaces for 77 vehicles including 4 handicap spaces are directly adjacent to the building.  The building is 2,600 SF and includes a 2,000 SF meeting room with chair only seating capacity of around 200 people.  A small serving kitchen is equipped with small refrigerator/freezer, sink, and two small moveable, stainless steel tables.

The center is located in the neighborhood park which includes a 700 SF pavilion, restrooms, community garden, playground, open play field, and walking track.
