To be an accountable steward of public park lands and recreation resources and an efficient provider of quality, wholesome leisure services to benefit the body, mind and spirit of all Cobb County residents.

Cobb PARKS is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for residents by offering diverse programs and facilities that cater to a wide range of interests and needs. The department's commitment to innovation and community engagement is evident in its efforts to continually adapt and expand services to meet the evolving demands of the county's growing population.

From nature enthusiasts exploring the extensive trail system to sports lovers enjoying state-of-the-art athletic complexes, Cobb PARKS ensures that there is something for everyone. The arts centers provide creative outlets for budding artists, while the aquatic centers offer both recreational swimming and competitive training opportunities. 2024 Recreation Board Agendas and Minutes

The Recreation Board is appointed by the Board of Commissioners and meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month, with no meeting in December. Unless noted otherwise, all meetings are held at the PARKS Administration Building at 1792 County Services Parkway, Marietta at 6:00PM.
