The Cobb County Board of Commissioners (“the Board”) pursuant to the Regional Solid Waste Management Authorities Act (O.C.G.A 12-8-50 et seq.; the “Act”) by Resolution (the “Enabling Resolution”) declared the need for a Solid Waste Management Authority, and thereby created the Cobb County Solid Waste Management Authority (the “Authority”) on February 22, 1994.

Resolution Establishing the Solid Waste Management Authority

The Authority shall conduct its annual meeting on the second Tuesday of March beginning in 2014, at 8:00 a.m. in the Cobb County Board of Commissioners Public Meeting Room.
