Amphitheatre
The Sewell Mill Amphitheatre features an oval stage and an uncovered central space for performances. Tiers of seats for spectators surround the central space. There is a level seating space closest to the stage apron that can accommodate several tables for preferred seating, and a casual lawn for blankets and folding chairs. Groups are welcome to bring basket meals to enjoy in the open air during performances. Patrons who have reserved the Amphitheatre can also use the dressing rooms in the Black Box backstage area. The stage area has one row of fixed lights. If additional audio-visual needs are required, equipment must be provided. Please note that although this venue is outdoors, no animals other than service animals are allowed on the premises and alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited. Black Box Theatre
The Black Box Theatre is a sophisticated yet simple indoor performance space with plain black walls and a level floor. The theatre can accommodate 105 seats on the tiered risers. An additional floor seating rows can be added to the front increasing the capacity to 120, each additional row reduces the amount of staging area available. There is a large projector screen suspended along the back wall for movie screening or projections to enhance performances. If the screen is not required, the back curtain can be drawn closed to conceal this amenity instead. A full complement of audio visual equipment is located within the upper sound booth. The backstage area is equipped with two well-lit, mirrored dressing rooms that have interior restrooms. Patrons renting the space also have the option of supplying their own stage, and/or simple backdrops. Download a rental brochure at the bottom of this page!
Art Gallery
The Carol and Jim Ney Art Gallery is an open, airy, light-filled space that serves as a perfect display space to showcase a variety of artistic expression. The rotation of shows is curated through the Cultural Affairs Arts Programs Coordinator on site.
Art Classrooms
We offer a wide variety of arts classes for all ages that include, but are not limited to glass fusion, drawing, painting, illustration, mixed media, digital photography, fiber arts, musical theatre, movement/dance

Summer Art Camps are offered yearly in June and July.
Ceramics Studio
Our ceramics studio is set up with large worktables for clay hand building alongside 12 pottery wheels for throwing. We have 2 large electric kilns for mid to high fire bisque and glaze ceramics, a glass kiln, and a raku kiln for specialty classes and workshops. This room is also equipped with a slab roller, wedging table, and general use standing work table. We offer day and evening classes for both children and adults.
