Before joining the Probate Court, she was the managing attorney for the Cobb County office of Atlanta Legal Aid. During her time at Atlanta Legal Aid, Judge Riddle practiced both probate and a wide range of civil litigation, and also provided training and advice on Probate related cases to other Legal Aid offices throughout the metro area. Prior to working at Legal Aid, Judge Riddle was in private practice for seven years focusing on Probate Litigation, Guardianships and Estate Planning. Before private practice, Judge Riddle worked at a large Cobb firm for nine years focusing on commercial, real estate, trust and estate litigation.
Judge Riddle is a graduate Cum Laude of the Florida State University Law School, where she was on Law Review, and was the recipient of a public service fellowship. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida.
Judge Riddle has been very active in the Cobb community including serving on the Board of Directors of the Cobb Collaborative, president of two Cobb school foundations, president of the Cobb Bar Probate and Elder Law Section, membership chair of the Cobb County Bar Association, and one of the founders and past presidents of the Cobb Women of the Bar section. She also served for many years as a girl scout troop leader.
Judge Riddle is a frequent speaker at events on continuing legal education for lawyers. She was the 2018 recipient of the Jack Vaughn Human Services Award and the 2021 honoree of the Live Safe Tribute to Achievement award.
