Need help with past due utilities, rent, or mortgage? We can help! Cobb County Senior Services is offering ONE TIME assistance for PAST due rent, mortgage, or utilities. We can also help with deposit assistance (rental or utility).

No assistance will be provided for pre-paid utility, telephone, internet service and cable television etc.

All PAST due balances must be verified.

Lease, mortgage or utilities must be in the applicant’s or household members name.

You MUST complete an online pre-screening to determine eligibility to apply for assistance.

MUST call for in-person assistance.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

· Cobb residents only

· Must be 55 years or above

· Valid GA ID and Social Security card required for everyone in household

· Household GROSS income must be at or below 200% of federal poverty guidelines

· Must provide proof of EMERGENCY situation(s), such as medical documentation, unemployment compensation statement, bank statement, past due utility bills, etc.
