East Cobb Library

History

East Cobb Library opened its doors to the public on February 1, 2010 replacing the Merchant's Walk Library. The library is located in the corner of the Parkaire Landing Shopping Center next to Kroger. The library is large and bright, with attractive décor and wood finishes throughout the building. It has four study rooms, a large materials collection, a separate Teen space, a Children’s Program Room, Children’s and Adult Areas, a café in the lobby with vending machines, public computers, and A/V equipment in areas such as the Community Room. The entire library has been designed to be a friendly and welcoming gathering place, where patrons can meet to satisfy entertainment, educational, and community needs.
