Kemp Memorial Library

History

Kemp Memorial Library opened on October 20, 1989, on land donated by Frances Kemp Whitlow.  It is located in the heart of West Cobb and boasts a friendly, family-oriented ambience.  Kemp has an architectural design that is unique in the Cobb County Library System, combining open space, natural lighting, and a floor plan that encourages patrons to navigate easily from one area to another. The library serves all ages with programs and storytimes year round. Located between Harrison High School and Kennesaw Mountain High School, and in close proximity to Due West Elementary School, Kemp offers easy sidewalk access to its patrons.
