Cobb Storm Debris Removal Policy: Cobb County crews cannot remove tree or landscaping debris that occurred on private property. The removal of this debris is the responsibility of the property owner.

Cobb County DOT crews are still working to clear roadways and right of way of debris mostly caused by falling trees during the recent snow storm. Crews will only clear the debris affecting county roads or property. Property owners are asked to call their private disposal company or tree service to have debris removed if necessary.

Cobb Board of Elections temporarily relocates three precincts for Nov. 8 general election

(Marietta, Ga., Oct. 7, 2016) Cobb County Board of Elections staff is temporarily relocating three precincts due to the facilities being unable to serve as polling places. Affected voters in the Nov. 8 general election, and any subsequent elections through March, will be mailed a new Voter Precinct Card. The three precincts are:

    Elizabeth 03: Will move from Marietta Alliance Church to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church: 2922 Sandy Plains Road, Marietta
    Fair Oaks 05: Will move from Fair Oaks United Methodist Church to the Fair Oaks Recreation Center: 1465 Brandon Drive, Marietta
    Kennesaw 1A: Will move from Kennesaw United Methodist Church to Ben Robertson Community Center: 2753 Watts Drive, Kennesaw

The Board of Elections reminds all voters to check that their addresses are current before Oct. 11 and to check their polling place information before they go to the polls because changes may have occurred since the last time they voted.
