The Georgia Environmental Protection Division is easing outdoor water use restrictions for 55 counties. Cobb County’s Drought Response Level has been lowered to a Level I Drought Response. The efficient use of our water resources is always important. Click here for more information on the new Drought Level I.

Congratulations to Jennifer McCoy, Watershed Stewardship’s Environmental Programs Coordinator for receiving the 2017 Hugh A. Wycoff Award from the Georgia Association of Water Professionals (GAWP) for demonstrating outstanding service through active and sustaining promotion of technical knowledge and promotion of the Association.

The Georgia Association of Water Professionals (GAWP) in August of 2017 awarded the Cobb County Water System (CCWS) a STREAM Award for its fun, interactive, and proactive community outreach to help the public prepare and respond to the [level-2] drought that was declared by the GA EPD.
